Salmon Loaf

This was one of my favorites growing up, and I think it's quickly becoming one of Mike's as well. This isn't Mum's recipe, but it turned out pretty good. They taste pretty much the same, as far as I can tell.

1 (14 oz) can salmon, undrained
1/2 c. saltine cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
salt and pepper to taste
2t. melted butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients. Mix well.
Press mixture into a lightly greased 9 by 5 loaf pan.
Bake for 45 min. or until done.
